Weather MCP server for German cities (DWD)
Current German Weather Service (DWD) data for 84 major German cities directly in your AI assistant, through InfraNode's free, keyless MCP tool. No API key, no install.
What the MCP tool does
The weather MCP tool returns the nearest DWD observation for a city: temperature, humidity, wind speed and condition. Your AI agent (Claude, ChatGPT and others) calls it automatically when you ask about a city's weather.
Use it in Claude or ChatGPT
Connect the InfraNode MCP server to your AI client once (see
set up the MCP server). After that a natural-language
question is enough, the assistant calls the weather tool
itself:
What is the weather in Hamburg right now?
The MCP server is free, keyless and remote over Streamable HTTP at
https://mcp.infranode.dev/mcp. No API key, no install.
Prefer the REST API?
The same data is also available without an AI agent as a classic REST API, also free and keyless.
